What gets pushed
The same notifications you already see in the bell, delivered to your phone even when FanPoolHQ is closed. Each type you switch off in Settings stays off for push too.
- Trade offers, counter-offers, acceptances and commissioner approvals
- Free-agent claims approved, rejected or lost to another team
- Announcements and message board posts from your commissioner
- Scheduled roster changes that couldn’t go through, and achievements you unlock
Install in under a minute
iPhone and iPad
iOS 16.4 or newer, in Safari.
- Open fanpoolhq.com in Safari and sign in.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open FanPoolHQ from the new icon, then go to Settings, Notifications and tap Enable push notifications. Apple only allows this from the home-screen app, not a Safari tab.
Android
Chrome, Edge or Samsung Internet.
- Open fanpoolhq.com and sign in.
- Tap Install when the banner appears, or open the ⋮ menu and tap Install app.
- Open FanPoolHQ from the new icon, then go to Settings, Notifications and tap Enable push notifications.
Computer
Chrome or Edge on Windows, Mac or Linux. Safari on Mac works too.
- Open fanpoolhq.com and sign in.
- Click the install icon at the right of the address bar (Safari: File, then Add to Dock).
- In the new window, go to Settings, Notifications and click Enable push notifications.
Push is switched on per device. Repeat the last step on every phone or computer you want notified.
Questions
- I don’t see the Enable button on my iPhone.
- You are probably in a Safari tab. Add FanPoolHQ to your home screen first, then open it from the icon and go back to Settings.
- How do I stop notifications?
- Settings, then Notifications, then Turn off on this device. You can also mute single types there, or block notifications for FanPoolHQ in your phone’s settings.
- Why isn’t it in the App Store or Google Play?
- Installing from the browser gets you the same experience without a store in the middle: updates are instant, nothing to download, and it works the same on every device.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. The app and notifications are free for every league.
